Explore the Gatlinburg Arts and Crafts Community

The community features over 100 artisans and craftsmen, and most of the shops are pet-friendly. You can browse through the shops with your pet and find unique souvenirs to take home.

Visit the Gatlinburg SkyBridge

 This is the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in North America and is pet-friendly. You can walk across the bridge with your pet and enjoy the beautiful views of the mountains.

Visit the National Park

The park is pet-friendly, and you can take your dog on a leash on the trails.

  • Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail: Starts after the Rainbow Falls Trailhead off the Orchard entrance to the park and stretches for 6 miles in a loop that boasts towering trees and lush scenery
  • Cades Cove Loop: Begins at the entrance to Cades Cove and follows an 11-mile loop that features historic sites, breathtaking valleys, and wildlife viewing.
  • Gatlinburg Trail: This trail is a two-mile round trip and is located in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It is a flat and easy trail, making it perfect for a leisurely stroll with your pet.

Visit the Gatlinburg Farmers Market

The market is pet-friendly, and you can shop for locally grown produce and handmade goods with your pet by your side

Gatlinburg offers a variety of pet-friendly dining options, ranging from cafes to restaurants. Feel free to call before you go as their policy’s can change. Additionally, if it’s hot outside and they only allow patio seating with your pup, you’ll want to know before you go!
