Our favorite memory as a couple visiting The Smoky Mountains is our hike up Mount Cammermer. To this day we talk about how rewarding this experience was!

Whisky Tasting in The Smoky Mountains
Whisky Tasting in Gatlinburg is one of our favorite memories as a couple. It’s a fun blend of education and enjoyment as you learn about the history of moonshining while tasting unique whisky flavors.

Downtown Gatlinburg
Downtown Gatlinburg is a vibrant and bustling area nestled at the base of the Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee.
It’s a hub of activity, offering visitors a mix of entertainment, dining, shopping, and attractions.
Strolling along the main strip, couples will find an eclectic array of shops selling everything from local crafts and souvenirs to specialty foods and apparel.
The streets are lined with restaurants serving up Southern cuisine, barbecue, international flavors, and sweet treats like homemade fudge and ice cream.
Gatlinburg is a short 30 minute drive from The Smoky Woods Lodge!

The Gatlinburg SkyBridge is an iconic attraction nestled in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains. Stretching 680 feet across a lush valley, it is one of the longest pedestrian suspension bridges in North America.
With its glass-floor panels offering a bird’s-eye view of the forest floor below, the Gatlinburg SkyBridge promises an unforgettable experience and countless photo opportunities for couples!
Zip-lining
One of the best ways to enjoy Smoky Mountain views and feel connected to nature is zip-lining through the trees! If you’re the adventure couple, be one of the few who sees east Tennessee through this perspective and check out ClimbWorkx.

Anakeesta

Bonfire & Hottub night
Our favorite way to end the day in the Smoky Mountains is enjoying a bonfire in the front yard of our cabin followed by a soak in the hottub.
This is especially enjoyable in the spring/summer when the crickets and fireflies come out!
